The social studies curriculum is based on the National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies. The students learn about different cultures, time, continuity, and change, global connections, civil ideas, and practices, as well as people places and environments. The curriculum provides the knowledge, beliefs, attitudes, and skills to guide students into being productive members of society.
